Each year, over 200,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with breast cancer. Because this disease affects so many, Herberger’s has joined in the battle to fight it. With our Charge Against Breast Cancer program, every time you use your Herberger’s card, we'll make a donation to the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota to help fund breast cancer research.
Masonic Cancer Center Women’s Cancer Research Program focuses on improving current research and discovering new methods to detect, treat and prevent breast cancer. Researchers in the program are working to reduce breast cancer-related deaths by improving detection and prevention strategies, studying mechanisms related to breast cancer biology and developing new treatment strategies based on biological targets.
Since this program began in September 1998, with the help of our customers, we have donated over $4.9 million companywide to five leading research facilities! Please join us in the search for a cure by using your Herberger’s card every time you shop in one of our stores. If you don't have a Herberger’s card, visit a store to find out how you can apply!
